Training Specialist - E-Commerce - 18 Month Contract

Why is this role important?

As an Implementation Specialist, you will travel across Canada to facilitate training in PC Express departments to introduce new initiatives and to promote continuous improvement with existing processes. The Implementation Specialist ensures a consistent colleague and customer experience by driving operational efficiency within PC Express. They work closely with in-store teams and Loblaw Digital operations teams to provide effective feedback that shapes our best practices. Your attention to detail, comfort with change management principles, and knowledge of our in-store PC Express operations is critical to ensure success against our annual business priorities.

Please note that this is a 18 month contract opportunity

What you’ll do

  • Facilitate in-person training sessions on a variety of topics, including but not limited to department best practices, scheduling, and introducing new technology or processes to the department.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including execution guides, SOPs, and presentations, to support store projects and programs as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders including Product Managers, UX Design, HR, Learning and Development, Operations/Continuous Improvement, and Store Teams to ensure alignment on training programs and outcomes.
  • Provide insight during the planning stage of new programs that drive labour efficiency and on-shelf availability.
  • Perform needs analysis to determine full scope of training required.

  • Able and willing to travel within Canada as needed (approx. 50%)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Curious mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite
  • Ability to analyze data to influence an outcome or action plan
  • Understanding and genuine concern for meeting the needs of the customer/colleague
  • 3 years supervisory/management experience a plus
