As of October 15, 2024 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Home, Entertainment, Health and Beauty (HEHB) team to develop and deliver category strategy projects that improve our competitive position and accelerate financial performance
  • Support category strategy development by leveraging data analytics to help identify opportunities, develop solution and integrate them into our core business processes
  • Support the Manger of Strategy on the team to coordinate the analytics and develop tangible metrics to measure success of projects and ensure tracking against targets is in place.
  • Analyze external market trends and competitor dynamics, while conducting internal category diagnostics on an on-going basis
  • Support the team to develop and present project presentations to key stakeholders throughout the business
  • Conduct port mortem analysis to track against set metrics of success and provide actionable recommendations

What You'll Need:

  • A curious, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience in Retail, Sales, Merchandising or knowledge of retail, financial or business processes preferred.
  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate productively with many diverse teams.
  • Experience using data and analytical skills to drive innovative insights.
  • Enrollment in a University where they are studying Business, or an Analytics-related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting in person
  • Works well in an open, diverse, and collaborative environment
