Sr. Product Analyst, Supply Chain Systems, Brampton, ON

In this role, you will work with your Product teams and other Loblaw Technology teams, to support, maintain, and improve overall performance, stability, and availability of Supply Chain Systems

The Supply Chain Stability & Operational Excellence team is a wide focused group charged with maintaining overall application stability. They are also in charge of problem/incident management, system performance management, break fixes, comprehensive monitoring and alerting, and coordination with various partners for all upcoming projects and deployments.

We are tasked with discovering opportunities for automation, pinpointing technical/functional improvement areas for efficient support, and leading such initiatives. Additionally, this team will work closely with Development and Support teams, Vendors, Infrastructure, and business teams

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Major Incident to resolution, ensure all involved teams are focused in resolving issues in a timely manner; work with team(s) to identify problem, risks and recommend creative solution for mitigation

  • Collaborate with the business and support teams to drive root-cause resolution on production issues, lead root-cause analysis and provide technical support to define short term and long term solutions

  • Act as a leader for continuous improvement – be a central point of contact for end to end process/capability, evaluate system’s performance and find opportunities to enhance systems stability and scalability

  • Implement standard processes, tools, and governance to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

What you Bring:

  • Hands on experience with software engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related technical field; working experience in supply chain is an asset

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including ability to work in a cross-functional environment and communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker with a strong work ethic. Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven experience with the principles of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and SDLC process in agile framework

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Unix shell skills
