Sr. Endpoint Management Engineer II, Brampton, ON
In this position, you'll collaborate with a dynamic and esteemed team to provide technical solutions within the Endpoint Management domain, utilizing enterprise management platforms such as Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Intune. Your primary responsibility will involve managing system administrative functions across these platforms.
What You’ll Do:
Design and maintain the SCCM/MECM infrastructure to ensure we can scale and meet the business requirements of deployment and security in a reliable fashion. Integration of SCCM with Azure AD, Intune, WSUS, Active Directory, and other enterprise tools to enable automation.
Plan and execute SCCM migrations, upgrades, and co-management with Microsoft Intune administration.
Manage and maintain SCCM primary and secondary site servers, distribution points, management points, and software update points - OS deployment (OSD), task sequences, patch management, and software distribution.
Develop and deploy application packages and scripts (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) based on business needs. OS image management (Windows 10/11). Monitor SCCM health, logs, and performance; resolve technical issues proactively; Perform Capacity planning, and performance tuning while maintaining org and security policies compliance.
Work in conjunction with security, networking, and desktop teams to ensure seamless endpoint operations.
Resolve support tickets, implement approved ServiceNow changes, and monitor team mailboxes to ensure timely response and action.
Serve as a technical resource for endpoint management initiatives, providing daily operational support, solution design input, and implementation for Windows-based devices across corporate and retail environments.
Update and maintain platform security settings, operational processes, user documentation, reporting, and presentations.
What you Bring:
Demonstrated success as a system administrator in an enterprise organization, proficient in utilizing SCCM and Intune as management solutions, capable of supporting tens of thousands of devices, applications, and configurations across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
Experience supporting all Windows OS versions, encompassing strategy, design, development, testing, and training.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in additional endpoint management skills such as Azure, Active Directory, configuration management, security policies, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
L3 experience in platform setup, application packaging, deployments, baselines, and Configuration Items (CIs). Skilled in developing task sequences (OSD), configuration policies, Autopilot, and ESP profiles. Provide scripting and packaging support via PowerShell, CMD, and MSI. SQL reporting, setup and management
Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, adept at collaborating with team members and project resources, capable of working independently and within a team environment.
Solid understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management (ServiceNow).
Knowledge of Workspace One, Power BI reporting an asset.
