The Impact You'll Make
The Sr. Director, Brand Marketing leads the development of long-term brand marketing strategies and oversees a team to implement marketing programs for visible, high risk and complex banner/cross-category portfolios. They are a key strategic partner to their Divisional/Category counterparts and other leaders across the enterprise, and act as an apprentice and successor to Marketing leadership. They have primary accountability for attracting new customers, increasing the health of the brands within the largest portfolios, expanding customer relationships, and driving sales for the brands / categories within their portfolio
What you'll do:
- Enterprise Strategy & Alignment: Supports the VP in driving the Marketing organization's strategic priorities within the Brand team. Works collaboratively with the other marketing teams, and partners to bring enterprise standard processes to the division, proactively seeking opportunities to find areas of convergence where it adds scale and value to the division
- Brand Strategy: Owns and champions the long-term brand strategy, making portfolio-level decisions to drive the growth of the assigned division/categories in-store and in digital
- Brand Communication: Ensures effective communication and understanding of brand objectives, initiatives, and vision across the organization
- Planning: Leads the development of full-year marketing plans/integrated marketing campaigns for the largest portfolios with the highest revenue and/or budgets; accountable for ensuring marketing briefs align to strategic objectives and deliver on results
- Control Brand Programs: Oversees the portfolio-level execution of Control Brand programs within the guidelines set by the CB marketing team
- People Leadership: Leads a team to develop world class marketing strategies and briefs; oversees team performance against marketing strategic objectives and important metrics, through mentorship and professional development
- Partnership: Acts as a strategic partner and advisor to Divisional/Category counterparts; collaborates with Marketing leadership, across the Marketing organization, and with other key partners to drive standard processes, shared takeaways, and efficiencies
- Innovation: Drives groundbreaking, innovative marketing strategies across paid, earned and owned channels to ensure relevant and best-in-class campaigns
- Financial Performance: Accountable for improving marketing value through the identification of savings and growth opportunities and ensuring the marketing budget is managed in accordance with standard processes
- Creation of clearly positioned, cohesive consumer brand experiences
What You'll Bring:

- Strong knowledge of leading digital marketing practices

- Knowledge of a CPG environment
- Marketing analytics & technology
- 10-15 years of experience, with expertise in brand marketing
- 5 or more years of experience leading a team
