Role Mandate:
We’re looking for a Specialist, In-Store Marketing to be a part of our team! This role will execute in-store programs, small to large in scale and complexity to support a variety of National, Divisional, Wellness and/or Control Brand marketing plans.
Accountabilities:
Manage In-Store signage requests – review executional brief with detailed job specs, submit to suppliers, and manage quote process, negotiating for best prices.
Maintain budget for individual program, ensuring cost effectiveness.
Manage timelines including delivery for signage and promotional merchandise portion of marketing process.
Work with Creative, Production and vendor teams to ensure accuracy in marketing assets, communication and delivery to external vendors for producing.
Support stores in executing signage programs successfully by coordinating signage distribution and troubleshooting when issues arise.
Track all signage deliverables to stores working closely with vendor and courier services to provide up to date information.
Coordinate purchase order creation and process invoices. Maintain monthly finance forecasting for own projects. Work with brand leads to ensure accurate and timely cost approvals prior to print.
Maintain clear communication and positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Recommend creative ideas for new components and team processes.
Assist key stakeholders in building signage plans that support marketing programs’ objectives and strategy.
Manage special projects as required
Assist to train team members as required.
Work closely with internal groups cross functionally to collaborate, communicate and execute “store-ready” programs in an effective and timely fashion.
Work closely to support our Brand/Divisional partners in managing their Local Marketing Portal, inventory & replenishment including reporting & financial reconciliation.
What you’ll need:
Post-secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree or College diploma in Marketing, or Graphic Communication
1- 3 years previous experience in marketing
Strong project management, organizational, communication, decision-making and negotiating skills
Highly organized, able to prioritize optimally and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Able to handle tight project timelines
Creative problem-solver with a strong work ethic and attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Familiarity with print production processes is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
