Senior Product Marketing Manager

Why is this role important?
As the first Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will establish and lead the Product Marketing function within Loblaw Digital, Media and Loyalty – playing a critical role in how we bring our digital products and features to market. Embedded within the product organization, you will define how product marketing operates by setting strategy, building scalable frameworks, and driving clear, consistent go-to-market execution. You will act as the bridge between product and customer – translating customer needs into insight, and product capabilities into compelling, differentiated value. You will lead go-to-market strategies for product releases, develop customer-facing messaging, and enable cross-functional teams to deliver successful launch outcomes. As a strategic individual contributor, you will leverage a network of partners across product, design, research, marketing, engineering, and analytics to drive impact at scale.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Strategy
Co-create the Product Marketing function, including scope, priorities and operating model
Build product marketing playbook, including messaging/ positioning frameworks, go-to-market standards, launch planning and communication models, including standardized release communication workflows
Evangelize product marketing best practices and scalable processes across the organization
Champion a customer-centric mindset within the product development and launch planning process
Continuously refine how we plan, communicate, and measure product success
Go-to-Market Planning & Execution
Develop, manage, and execute go-to-market plans for new features, enhancements, and product releases across web and app experiences
Build clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions for customer-facing communications
Create internal and external launch materials including FAQs, briefs, readiness guides, product overviews
Drive alignment across product, marketing, and design to ensure cohesive execution
Messaging & Positioning
Translate complex product capabilities into simple, customer-centric narratives
Develop clear customer-focused content across multiple channels (email, push notifications, in-app messaging, web, social) in partnership with brand and digital marketing teams
Ensure and maintain communication consistency across all customer and stakeholder touchpoints
Create scalable messaging frameworks that empower teams to adopt and execute
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
Partner closely with Product Management, UX, Engineering, Marketing, and Digital Experience teams to ensure alignment on launch objectives, messaging, and customer impact
Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions to ensure clarity on strategy, messaging, and priorities
Integrate communication planning into early stages of the product development lifecycle
Support internal teams (i.e. Customer Care) with training materials and documentation for upcoming releases
Customer Insights & Performance
Define and track success metrics for product marketing efforts, including feature adoption, engagement and retention, and customer satisfaction
Partner with Research and Analytics teams to gather insights, deeply understand customer behaviour, and optimize future launch strategies
Provide reporting and recommendations on product marketing performance to key stakeholders to inform iteration and future roadmap decisions

Qualifications
5-8+ years of experience in Product Marketing or related functions, preferably within e-commerce, digital consumer products, or mobile apps
Proven experience developing go-to-market strategies for product features or launches
Expert marketing storyteller adept at creating both visual and written marketing communications and presentations, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy through customer and market insight
Strong analytical acumen with experience defining and tracking product and marketing KPIs and dashboards
Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
