Senior Manager, Workday HR Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Manager, HR Technology, to join our team. This role presents a dynamic opportunity to contribute to our ongoing Workday evolution and support the largest employer in Canada.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday HCM, Talent, Performance, and Succession, with demonstrated success leading annual cycles, configuring complex rules and calculations, and delivering insights that directly enable our HR talent strategies. Additionally, experience with surveys and other employee listening tools will be considered a strong secondary asset.

Reporting to the Director, HR Talent Technology, you will be part of a talented team responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving Talent, Performance, Succession and Survey programs in Workday, while also supporting employee engagement measurement through Medallia. You’ll ensure these platforms provide a positive user experience, maintain integrity, and support enterprise-wide strategic outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • HRIS technical Workday lead in the People, Technology & Analytics department (IT) supporting Talent, Performance Management and Succession.  Responsible for ensuring system is optimally configured, maintained, and utilized.

  • Manage a team of high-performing analysts, identify and prioritize team work, delegate projects and manage them to successful outcomes, deadlines and deliverables.

  • Enhance Workday Talent and Performance functions, focus on documenting core maintenance, annual/quarterly cycles, reporting, insights, and ongoing feature deployments.

  • Colleague Listening & Engagement (Secondary): Administer Medallia surveys to capture employee voice; configure dashboards, deploy surveys, and provide actionable insights to leaders.

  • Project Leadership: Serve as workstream lead on critical projects impacting Talent, applying agile, hybrid, or Workday Delivery methodologies.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations of Workday and Medallia, ensure data integrity, resolve issues with long-term solutions, and support release management.

  • Remain current on HR system requirements by actively participating in the online system community and human resource data analytics trends by providing recommendations for continuous improvement of our systems and processes. 

Does this Sound like You?

  • 5-7 years of HR Technology experience with strong expertise in Workday Talent, Performance, and HCM.

  • 3-4 years of direct people management experience in similar role, with 1-2 years project management experience of system enhancements and implementations

  • Experience with employee listening survey tools; experience with Medallia preferred (configuration, deployment, and analytics).

  • Proven ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and business leaders in a large, complex enterprise.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive approach to leadership and a high degree of empathy and integrity.

  • High-level of critical thinking, strong troubleshooting and investigation skills, a creative problem solver with ideas that drive efficiency and improve business processes.

  • Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.

$100,000.00 - $132,000.00 / 100.000,00$ - 132.000,00$ (per year / par an)
