As we continue to evolve the program and deepen the role of loyalty across our enterprise, we are looking for an experienced, collaborative Marketing Partnerships Senior Manager to join the PC Optimum Marketing team. This new team member will report to the PC Optimum Marketing Director and bring our newest financial services partnership, EQ Bank, to life within our broader Loblaw Enterprise and determine how PC Optimum will be represented within all EQ Bank branding.

This is a highly cross-functional role that requires collaboration with numerous internal and external teams, from creative services to data-focused business leads. This person will own campaign strategy & execution, brief internal creative teams, manage stakeholders, and have accountability for campaign reporting. The successful candidate has experience influencing and presenting to all levels of leadership, has a passion for building positive rapport, and can translate business requirements into compelling creative that drives outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the marketing strategy for EQ Bank, a key PC Optimum partner, developing and executing annual marketing plans that align shared business objectives and drive customer and business growth.
  • Serve as the primary marketing lead for EQ Bank within Loblaw, building trusted relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and navigating the Enterprise to identify strategic opportunities that advance partnership objectives.
  • Develop customer-focused, insight-driven creative briefs to support mass and targeted marketing campaigns that inspire internal and external agencies, considering the appropriate channels and tactics to support the customer throughout their journey.
  • Lead the delivery of high-impact paid and owned campaigns that reach millions of customers weekly, ensuring exceptional execution across channels.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Loblaw’s grocery and pharmacy divisions, Social Centre of Excellence, Digital Experience Strategy, Digital Messaging, Loblaw Agency, and Loblaw Media to deliver integrated partnership marketing initiatives.
  • Own end-to-end campaign management, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and delivery on time, to brand, legal, and business standards.
  • Lead post-campaign performance reporting and optimization, translating insights into recommendations that improve effectiveness, efficiency, and future partnership initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and pitch insight-led partnership marketing opportunities by staying close to customer, cultural, and competitive trends to drive innovation and growth.
  • Support senior leadership on strategic partnership priorities through analysis, recommendations, executive-ready materials, and strong executional follow-through.

Does this sound like you?

  • 6+ years of meaningful work experience in partnership marketing, loyalty marketing, CPG/grocery marketing, or customer-based management role
  • Driven to proactively identify new marketing opportunities supported by business insights to deliver scalable outcomes
  • Strategic and results-oriented with strong analytical skills, with a knack for sharpening the focus of ambiguous challenges
  • Experience in the development of creative/communications, including brand standards, with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience navigating a large matrixed organization independently, with the sense of when to ask for support where needed, with a demonstrated ability to influence outcomes among senior leaders
  • A “do-er”, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit who thrives as an individual contributor
  • Ability to move quickly while developing strong management systems to keep stakeholders involved and informed
  • Strong written and verbal communication to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, building rapport and trust with teams across multiple functions

Location

500 Lake Shore Boulevard West, Toronto, Ontario with occasional flexibility to travel to Loblaw Head Office at 1 President’s Choice Circle in Brampton, Ontario. This role is expected to be in office four days per week.
