Senior Financial Analyst, Reporting - Finance

What you’ll do:
- Own recurring revenue reporting, including Month in Progress, sales deck inputs, LE submissions, scorecards, management reports and finance deck inputs.
- Track in-month media spend and client budgets using Advendio/Salesforce, dashboards and media platform exports.
- Prepare monthly LE and client/product spend breakdowns for Finance and Revenue Management at a product level.
- Complete month-end actuals reporting by updating management report inputs, mapping client/product/category fields and resolving exceptions.
- Maintain client budget actual reporting.
- Analyze overspends and platform budget variances to support accurate accruals and Operations follow-up.
- Reconcile financial, sales, and platform data to provide accurate monthly pacing against revenue targets.
- Refresh and validate pivot tables, formulas, mappings, and manual adjustments; troubleshoot unmatched records and month-over-month changes.
- Support Director of Finance by leveraging operational data into clear insights and analysis.
- Document SOPs, file paths, source systems and handoff procedures; recommend workflow, automation and control improvements.
- Deliver accurate, complete and on-time reports with minimal supervision while managing recurring weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Support the implementation and adoption of AI-enabled tools within financial reporting processes, including identifying automation opportunities, validating outputs, improving process efficiency, and maintaining appropriate oversight and data integrity.
- Prepare month-end journal entries related to financial reporting activities, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation, accuracy, and compliance
- Prepare various ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics or a related field.
- Completion or enrollment of professional CPA designation (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, data cleaning, structured templates and formula troubleshooting; Power Query, VBA or macros are assets.
- Experience with recurring finance, revenue, sales or media reporting, including forecasts, latest estimates, month-end actuals and budget-versus-actual analysis.
- Working knowledge preferred with tools such as Salesforce/Advendio, SAP, MicroStrategy, Looker/DataStudio, media platform exports or similar CRM, ERP and BI/reporting tools.
- Understanding of financial reporting concepts, including revenue, COGS, margin, accruals, AR, billing, POs and month-end close.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to resolve data discrepancies and source system inconsistencies.
- Ability to prioritize competing requests, manage weekly and monthly reporting cycles and follow through on a high volume of deliverables.
- Clear communication skills and ability to explain trends, variances and risks; retail media, advertising, agency or marketing finance experience is an asset.
