The Sr. Analyst of Real Estate is responsible for coordinating with Real Estate team members to ensure that all due diligence and process items are executed in order to provide a seamless new store development lifecycle. The Sr. Analyst will also negotiate lease renewals, complete lease reviews, and exemplify excellent communication skills through both in-person conversations and email in order to provide accurate and timely outcomes for projects across the country.

Accountabilities:

  • Play a key role in the Capital Meeting process, by working with Real Estate team members to aid in site due diligence and produce executive level presentations
  • Be a “Source Super User”: Using Loblaw Real Estate’s internal database, consistently connect with Real Estate members on status of projects and diligently make all updates.
  • Coordinate on new sites to ensure all due diligence materials are obtained and uploaded to ACC for use by the greater Real Estate team
  • Lease Renewals: Enhance your negotiating skills by connecting with internal team members and Landlords to secure long-term success for our grocery network
  • Lease Reviews: As requested, use your leasing knowledge to dig into Leases and Amending Agreements to understand and resolve site-related issues such as rent, maintenance/repair problems, construction, intensification etc. 
  • Communicate with both internal team members and external consultants to coordinate document requests, take and send out meeting minutes, build due diligence databases, track key milestone dates for projects etc.

Skills and Experience:

  • Post secondary education equivalent to a university degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Geography, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Leading edge skills in PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to create executive level presentation decks that describe the real estate project, including developing a variety of charts and economic proformas
  • Able to work with diverse personalities and styles. Communicates with clarity both written & verbally in one on one or group situations. Over the phone and/or through email.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to make supportable decisions
  • Sound knowledge of financial data, lease documents and retail market

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :

$60,000.00 - $82,500.00 / 60.000,00$ - 82.500,00$ (per year / par an)
