Senior Analyst, Audience Analytics | Toronto
As a Senior Analyst, Audience Analytics within the Audience Centre of Excellence (COE) team, you will play a critical role in supporting the CDP (Customer Data Platform) audience strategy and operations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing insights and analytics to support audience strategy, translating audience requirements into segmenting and targeting strategies, collaborating with the Data Core team, and building robust visualization and analytics products.
This position will focus on supporting Loblaw Digital (LD) and PC Optimum. You will collaborate on a day-to-day basis with the LD Personalization team, Loyalty Product teams, and LD divisional Growth teams on audience strategy, segmentation, and analytical needs.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct in-depth analysis of CDP ID resolution and C360 results to identify trends, patterns, and insights in support of audience strategy.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager to present findings to business unit Spoke teams, providing actionable recommendations based on the analysis.
Utilize query logics to translate audience requirements into audience prototypes.
Collaborate with the Data Core team to provide clear and comprehensive requirements for the production of data products.
Ensure that the data products enable Spoke teams to perform analytics on customer data effectively.
Develop and build robust visualization and analytics products to help Spoke teams better understand their customer base.
Utilize tools and technologies to create user-friendly and insightful visualizations and analytics products.
Build audience segments in CDP and push them to the activation platform.
Continuously monitor and aid Spoke teams to adopt the use of CDP for self-serve segmentation needs.
Build audiences in the experimentation platform in support of onsite and in-app experimentation for all LOBs
Develop comprehensive training materials to educate Business Unit (BU) partners on the platform and its functionalities.
Provide training sessions to BU partners, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how to effectively utilize the platform.
Champion data governance and data stewardship, and monitor privacy features of our data platforms and provide recommendations on staying compliant with the current legislative environment
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes in the ad tech industry that could have an impact on the business
What You Bring:
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Mathematics or Economics, with a solid understanding of data analytics
3+ years of experience in data analysis, audience insights, and analytics, preferably in a marketing or audience analytics role.
Hands-on experience with media buying platforms (ex. Google, Meta, Pinterest, etc.) to create segments, push audiences live and prepare audience analysis
Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and audience strategies is a plus.
Solid ability to query transactional, loyalty raw data using SQL, and Python skills are a must. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery is a big plus!
Proficiency in data visualization tools (i.e. Looker, Data Studio, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently
Curious by nature with strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, multiple project environment on an independent basis and with minimal supervision
Comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities/needs
