Summer 2026 Work Term

The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.
Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

This is your opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience and help establish strong relationships that will prove useful throughout your career.
We are excited to be hiring a summer student (May through August 2026) to join our Real Estate team based in our Brampton, ON office at 1 Presidents Choice Circle. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the team that supports all real estate initiatives throughout Ontario for our supermarket and Shoppers Drug Mart divisions, whether that be new stores, existing assets and/or divisional support.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in the development of presentation decks for the purposes of senior management approvals
Identify, research, and track future opportunities
Collaborate across departments (market analytics, construction, and finance) to ensure pipeline alignment
Review site plans with internal and external partners
Update existing databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
Learn and utilize internal databases and software, including Tango and Source
Author Lease Summaries, including lease abstracts
Track and update Financial Proformas, ensuring accurate and real-time details are incorporated
Additional ad-hoc duties as assigned
Off-site travel (approximately 5-10%) for site visits within the Greater Toronto Area market
We are a hybrid office environment, with a four (4)-day in office and one (1) flex day offered
What You’ll Need:

Organized: strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Computer and software literate: excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Current undergraduate or graduate student
Valid Driver’s License and access to personal vehicle for travel
Ability to work in office a minimum of four (4) days per week
Additional Beneficial Skills:
Background in Real Estate, Geography, Planning, and/or Business
Able to multi-task and co-ordinate multiple projects
Professional approach and manner (attitude, appearance, and demeanor)
