What You'll Do:
- Creating Vendor Pricing Agreements and issuing to the vendors for signing
- Reviewing location data in transport systems, following locations setup guidelines
- Placing requests with data teams for system setups, ensuring accurate information is captured
- Ensuring proper transit time settings are in place in time for new pickup program start
- Reviewing completed requests to ensure accuracy
- Gather relevant information required for execution teams i.e. vendor operational hours etc
- Monitor business development team requests to ensure requests are accurate according to current system settings
- Perform invoice adjustments where necessary in the transport system and release invoices for billing
- Experience with transportation billing systems and administration of both planned and unplanned accessorials
- Ability to work with customers on trouble shooting billing issues, with an ability to work quickly in identifying/resolving discrepancies
- Ability to work though large datasets in providing both revenue and billing opportunities
- Research and prepare repayments in different formats as dictated on the individual vendor agreement type
- Upload agreed rates to multiple systems, according to rate types negotiated
- Perform detailed and complex analytical analysis
- Identify, quantify, and perform root cause analysis on inbound vendor freight
What You'll Need:
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a supply chain or retail organization
- University or College degree in Industrial Engineering, computer science, business technology management, or supply chain management preferred
- Professional attitude and strong problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills (MS Access, Excel) and is considered systems savvy
- Solid financial understanding and knowledge/background in transportation industries
- Strong communication skills
