Production Manager - 12 Month Contract

Why is this role important:
The Production Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production of high-quality digital and printed materials that align with our brand’s marketing goals. They will collaborate closely with marketing teams, product teams, creative teams and vendors to ensure the successful execution of each project. The Production Manager will report to the Sr. Manager, Production and will support both our retail and control brands’ initiatives.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with creative, operations and client teams to ensure assets are delivered on time, on budget and to specification
Collaborate closely with clients, operations, and external vendors to understand project requirements, objectives and timelines
Work with producer and studio teams to develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resourcing
Work closely with the operations team and Sr. Production Manager to forecast resource requirements and prioritize projects on an ongoing basis
Work with vendor teams to gather all dielines or required specifications and ensure they meet client requirements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with client and agency teams, serving as the main point of contact for production-related matters
Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address issues to ensure project success
Liaise with clients, operations and vendor teams to gather requirements, solidify deliverable lists, provide project updates, and address any concerns or changes throughout the production process
Collaborate with agency operations team during the production phase to circulate proofs, address feedback, make necessary revisions
Continuously assess and adjust project plans as necessary to adapt to changing circumstances
Manage production processes, including prepress preparation, vendor selection, cost estimation, production timelines and quality control
Select appropriate printing methods, materials and finishes based on project requirements and budget considerations
Monitor vendor production schedules and deadlines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies and printing techniques to provide innovative solutions and suggestions to enhance print campaigns
Support the Studio leadership team in key initiatives that affect our agency and brand partners’ success
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of creative and production workflows
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Experience as a Production Coordinator or Account Manager is considered a benefit
Experience with Adobe Premiere and Creative Cloud, Workfront or other project management tools is considered an asset
Kindly note that this is a contract position, and as such, our contractors are paid an hourly rate based on the number of hours worked each week. The hourly rate for this position is $37.5/hour. Candidates are welcome to seek more clarity concerning hourly rates and pay schedules during their initial screening.
