Product Manager - Platform Migration (9-month Contract)

Why this role is important?
- Project Leadership: Own the end-to-end migration project, from planning and requirements gathering to execution, testing, and launch.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Marketing, Digital Messaging, Product, and Engineering to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Requirements Definition: Conduct thorough analysis of existing marketing messaging use cases, documenting detailed requirements for the new platform.
- Solution Design: Work with the technical team to design and configure the new platform to meet the defined requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Testing & Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the migrated use cases, ensuring functionality and data integrity.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the migration process.
- Communication & Reporting: Provide regular project updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive, structured, and organized project documentation, including product requirements documents (PRDs), testing plans, and user guides.
- Experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects.
- Understanding of digital marketing messaging platforms and technologies, including email, SMS/RCS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
- Experience migrating systems or data between platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Retail industry and/or e-commerce experience is a plus.
