Why is this role important?
As a Product Manager on our Digital Health team, you’ll be supporting our Shoppers Drug Mart business. You will be responsible for introducing key features to enhance/simplify the experience for patients and drive digital health engagement. In addition, you will work closely with SDM and Pharmacy teams to develop seamless integrations between the digital and real life experiences. You will use data every single day to uncover meaningful insights that inform your experimentation strategy and ultimately, your product roadmap.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: Typically 3+ years of Product Management experience, including at least some in healthcare, pharmacy, bioscience or patient support program related products or environments.
Domain knowledge: Familiarity with medication management, pharmacy operations, and health in general is strongly preferred.
Agile / Product practices: Support the product backlog including daily prioritization, grooming, writing user stories and generally keeping the development team unblocked and running as fast as possible.
Data-driven mindset: Comfortable defining metrics, running experiments, and using quantitative + qualitative insights to guide key product decisions.
Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work with various stakeholder groups including pharmacy operations, engineering, design, and regulatory teams.
Prioritization & problem solving: Adept at breaking down problems, defining the minimum viable solution, making high-judgment trade-offs, working in fast-paced / ambiguous environments.
Communication: Excellent written & verbal communication; ability to present ideas clearly to leadership and to align teams.
What Success Looks Like
Champion a patient-centric medication management journey, that is thoughtfully defined, well-aligned with company priorities and patient/provider needs, and delivered on time.
Strong ownership of the patient experience and success, including proposing features/ideas that align with our strategy and goals.
Key operational metrics (e.g. adherence) show meaningful improvements.
Stakeholder satisfaction: internal teams feel collaboration with the Product team is smooth and priorities are clear.
Product decisions are well-grounded in data and feedback; risks and trade-offs are visible and managed.
Nice-Have / Additional Assets
Experience in pharmacy, health, or related fields preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with health market in Canada
Note: This role is hybrid - 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
