Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to help build and scale digital solutions that empower pharmacists to deliver high-quality patient care. This role sits within the Provider Domain of Digital Health and focuses on advancing our Pharmacy Services Hub (PS Hub)—a modern platform that unifies clinical workflows, integrations, and service delivery across Canada.

You will operate at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and operations—shaping products that elevate the provider experience, unlock new service opportunities, and connect pharmacists to the broader healthcare ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Own and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle—from discovery through delivery and continuous iteration
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable product roadmaps, features, and requirements
  • Actively manage the product backlog, including prioritization, grooming, and user story development, to keep teams focused and moving at pace

Workflow & Experience Design

  • Build a deep understanding of pharmacist/provider workflows to identify opportunities to reduce friction and eliminate duplication
  • Design intuitive, efficient clinical experiences across tools (e.g., PMS, EMR, CDS, POCT integrations)
  • Champion a “single workflow” vision across digital systems within the pharmacy

Integrations & Platform Thinking

  • Lead integration efforts across key systems (e.g., EMRs, pharmacy systems, booking tools, diagnostic and point-of-care testing platforms)
  • Define clear requirements for interoperability and data flow (e.g., bidirectional data exchange, longitudinal patient context)
  • Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform scalability and sustainability

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Partner cross-functionally with Pharmacy Operations, Clinical Excellence, Technology, Design, Analytics, and Regulatory teams
  • Drive alignment on priorities, manage trade-offs, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership
  • Support go-to-market planning and rollout strategies across provinces

Data-Driven Product Development

  • Define and track success metrics (e.g., adoption, conversion, adherence, workflow efficiency)
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to inform experimentation and product decisions
  • Continuously iterate based on user feedback and performance data

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of Product Management experience, with exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, or patient support program environments
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with provider-facing digital health solutions, pharmacy operations, and the broader healthcare landscape is strongly preferred
  • Agile / Product Practices: Experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and working closely with engineering teams in agile environments
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable defining metrics, running experiments, and using insights to guide product direction
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups, including operations, clinical, engineering, design, and regulatory
  • Prioritization & Problem Solving: Strong ability to break down complex problems, define MVP solutions, phase and sequence complex work, and make thoughtful trade-offs in fast-paced environments
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and align teams and leadership

What Success Looks Like

  • Strong ownership of the end-to-end pharmacist/provider experience, with proactive ideas that align to strategy
  • Measurable improvements in key operational metrics (e.g., adoption, adherence, workflow efficiency, care quality)
  • High stakeholder confidence, with clear priorities and seamless cross-functional collaboration
  • Product decisions consistently grounded in data and feedback, with risks and trade-offs proactively identified and managed

Why This Role Matters

This role is central to advancing Shoppers Drug Mart’s vision of pharmacists as front-line healthcare providers in Canada’s evolving system. You will shape the digital tools they rely on every day—streamlining workflows, reducing friction, and enabling high-quality care delivery at scale.

Working closely with Pharmacy and SDM teams, you will connect pharmacist and patient experiences through seamless, integrated solutions that improve access, continuity, and quality of care. Using data to guide decisions, you will drive experimentation and continuously refine the product roadmap to deliver meaningful, measurable impact.

Ultimately, your work will help scale a modern clinical platform that enhances efficiency, enables service growth, and strengthens the role of pharmacy in primary care.
