The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.
Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).
We are hiring a Merchandising Promotions Summer Student
This role is to support the Merchandising Promotions Team with process improvement initiatives related to the flyer including analytics & reporting. The summer student will also help with managing the flyer expenses & help with a promo builder pilot. The Merchandising Promotions Summer Student will work closely across the team to assist with the process improvement initiatives related to flyer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ariba Approval Support: Assist with the Ariba system approval process for flyer-related expenses, including compiling information and routing requests.
- Flyer Expense Tracking: Maintain and update the weekly flyer expense template
- Promo Builder Pilot: while this platform is still in development with TC, the intern will pilot a category to optimize flyer production, uncover significant cost, and labour efficiencies
- Revionics and Pricing Team Support: given that we have two LTA-funded contracts for SDM build and validation may conclude by early summer, and category sequencing extends until year-end, the intern will provide support to the team in ensuring uninterrupted data continuity and accuracy over summer months.

- Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong work ethic with a passion for detail and accuracy
- Uses creativity and collaboration to solve problems and to create efficiencies
- Computer skills to produce effective spreadsheets, reports, documents, and presentations, as required
- Database management
