Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

                                                                                                                                               

Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Merchandising Finance within the Shoppers Drug Mart Corporate Finance team, this role is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of vendor income collected from merchandise suppliers.

What you’ll do:

•     Provide excellent customer service to all business stakeholders.

•     Ensure all vendor income is authorized prior to billing, in accordance with the approval matrix.

•     Liaise with merchants to ensure vendor income billings are complete and accurate.

•     Perform balance sheet reconciliation and analysis related to vendor income accruals.

•     Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and productivity.

•     Assist with special projects as required.

•     Promote a workplace of inclusivity and belonging.

What you bring:

•     A post-secondary education in business, commerce, accounting, or finance.

•     Experience in a fast-paced environment; corporate and/or retail experience is an asset.

•     Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively exchange information, influence, and collaborate.

•     Proven analytical skills with attention to detail and consistent report presentation.

•     Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage demanding situations with tact.

•     Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

•     Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).

        Specific Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookup formulas, macros, graphing, and sorting are an asset.

•     Experience with SAP, SQL, Python, SAS, Teradata, and/or MicroStrategy is an asset.
