Why this role is important?

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting:
    • Actively participate in the financial planning and budgeting processes, with a primary focus on the Common Year Plan (CYP) and Administrative Plan.
  • Retail Store Common Year Plan Process:
    • Prepare consolidated rollups of store-level financial data.
    • Generate exception reports identifying anomalies and variances within the CYP data.
    • Utilize Café to retrieve data from TM1 for analysis and reporting.
  • STIP Initiative Management:
    • Effectively evaluate, track, monitor, and communicate the financial performance of Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) initiatives for the field.
  • Administrative Planning & Reporting:
    • Participate in the Administrative Planning process.
    • Prepare periodic reports analyzing performance against the Administrative Plan.
  • Financial Reporting & Presentations:
    • Develop and prepare financial presentations and comprehensive reporting packages for the Vice Presidents of Operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Foster strong engagement and partnerships with Operations teams (both Field and National) and Retail Finance.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting & Analysis:
    • Respond to requests from senior management for ad hoc reporting and financial analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility:
    • Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
    • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
    • Retail industry or pharmacy experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights with an operational perspective.
    • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools).
    • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Time Management & Prioritization: Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent requests in a timely and accurate manner.
