Role Mandate:

We’re looking for a Manager, In-Store Marketing to be a part of our team! This role will implement in-store programs, small to large in scale and complexity for our stores.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage major marketing initiatives by working directly with internal Brand Marketing teams, Loblaw Agency and external vendors on point of purchase in store materials including innovation, sourcing, and prototyping to deliver an impactful in store experience.
  • Assist Brand partners in building signage plans that support marketing programs’ objectives and strategy. Provide costs and signage recommendations to project stakeholders for optimal cost efficiency and communication effectiveness.
  • Manage all aspects of the timely execution and delivery of multiple marketing campaigns & print collateral from initial briefing to store launch.
  • Present & recommend alternative solutions with respect to the project and process to save on time, costs, substrates and quality.
  • Oversees workload of direct report(s) and manage key vendors to ensure that work is done accurately, efficiently and maintains the integrity and overall strategy ensuring implementation complies with policies, procedures and standards as well as best working practices
  • Produce expense reporting or budget analysis for program costs and forecasting including managing financial reconciliation of all projects.
  • Review creative assets with designers and printers to ensure production transparency and accuracy.
  • Manage signage distribution to stores, troubleshooting when issues arise.
  • Develop positive relationships with internal and external collaborators & effectively managing communication to all stakeholders.
  • Lead special projects as the need arises.
     

What you’ll need:

  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree or College diploma in Marketing, or Graphic Communication
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Marketing or a Print Production role
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, decision-making and negotiating skills
  • Creative problem-solver with a strong work ethic and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Familiarity with print production processes is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
