Customer Service – Manager, Accounts Receivable Inquiries
Loblaws Companies Ltd. is currently seeking highly motivated candidates to fill the position of Manager, Customer Service in Accounts Receivables within our Enterprise Business Services team. This position interacts with internal and external customers to provide information in response to accounts receivable inquiries. The manager will be responsible for managing a staff of customer service clerks, triage escalated issues and involved in managing process improvement initiatives to better serve the customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing database records and preparing status reports on customer service issues to executives
- Communicating with stores and business and external partners risks, issues and opportunities
- Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency; set process standards where appropriate
- Work with technology teams to develop and implement automation and AI strategies
- Identify Key Performance Metrics across the team and provide key data and reporting requirements to upper management.
- Maintain relationships with other internal departments as well as client base to improve business performance.
- Lead the Customer Service Experience for MediSystem Pharmacy and Shopper’s Drug Mart, through goal setting, monitoring performance and overseeing workflow to build a customer and colleague centric culture
Requirements and Skills
- Previous applicable industry experience, minimum 3 years or a combination of education and managing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a customer centric mindset and have ability to negotiate positive outcomes for both the business and the customer while maintaining emotional intelligence and patience
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask daily activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to develop strong relationships
- Ability to delegate work and follow up for completion
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changes and lead teams through these changes
- Strong working knowledge with Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams working in a Windows environment.
- Familiarity with SAP, HighRadius and Microstrategy systems considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team
- Self-motivated and agile to work remotely when possible
