Join our dynamic team as a Manager, Allocations, where you will lead the development and execution of data-driven forecasting and allocation strategies to optimize inventory flow, maximize sales, and reduce risk across our retail network.

This role sits at the center of demand planning, partnering across merchandising, supply chain, and store operations to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand, promotional strategies, and seasonal priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Forecasting & Allocation Strategy Ownership

  • Own and evolve item/store-level forecasting and allocation strategies across seasonal and promotional programs

  • Translate category-level forecasts into optimized site-level allocations to improve distribution precision

  • Identify and act on zero-sales and underperforming inventory opportunities

  • Support the development of centralized forecasting models across grocery and fresh categories

2. Inventory Optimization & Risk Management

  • Optimize inventory productivity by balancing in-stock levels, sell-through, and margin performance

  • Manage promotional and seasonal inventory risk, including exit strategies and shelf-life considerations

  • Proactively position inventory to support store readiness and upcoming programs

3. Promotional & Program Allocation Execution

  • Lead allocation and performance tracking across key programs (e.g., HOTM, Price Drop, Insiders, DMAP, seasonal events)

  • Support execution of seasonal and event-driven demand (e.g., Easter, Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

  • Ensure alignment between promotional intent and inventory positioning across stores

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Alignment

  • Partner with category, supply chain, and operations teams to align forecasts with business strategies

  • Support offshore and long-lead-time inventory planning through forecasting and booking alignment

  • Influence stakeholders using data-driven insights to improve decision-making and execution

Role Requirements

  • Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 3–5 years in retail merchandising, allocations, or forecasting; supply chain experience is an asset

  • Communication: Proven ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders

  • Technical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to build and leverage advanced data models using SQL, Python, GCP, and Excel to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory flow, and enable data-driven decision-making

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :

$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 / 80.000,00$ - 110.000,00$ (per year / par an)
