Why is This Role Important
Work in a busy team environment to produce exciting creative, marketing materials while adhering to banner and brand guidelines for the Corporate Brands and Divisions of Loblaw Companies. This production role supports marketing print material, store POS, website, social media and digital marketing material. A Production Designer must have the ability to juggle projects while striving for 100% accuracy. With this role you will take complete charge of projects, under a manager’s guidance.
Technical Requirements:
MAC OS
Print and pre-press production, digital production
Adobe Creative Cloud 2025
Working knowledge InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Knowledge of Figma + Web, Social and Digital Media Marketing
Knowledge of Microsoft - PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Adobe Workfront (job tracking tool) and Adobe Experience Manager - is an asset but not required
Additional Qualifications:
Photoshop - some knowledge of photo editing and manipulation
Design knowledge and layout through to final production
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining organized and detail-oriented (soft proof reading)
Excellent file management and organization
An understanding of technical requirements for different final deliveries, a knowledge of printing, prepress and digital processes would be an asset.
Minimum College diploma or higher in a related field required
1-2 years of related work experience an asset

We love to be upfront about our pay rates and as we pay our contractors an hourly rate, please note that the hourly range for this position is $25 per hour. Candidates are welcome to ask further questions regarding compensation during their screening interviews.
