Why is this role important
 

Our Store Team Members are inspired doers. They help provide a positive in-store shopping experience by ensuring the store is always ready with available products that meet customer needs to live life well.  Our Clerks inspire our customers through delightful conversation and knowledge of products.

What you’ll do 

  • Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

  • Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

  • Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

  • Setup company-directed promotions and programs

  • Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards 


Responsibilities:

Grocery Clerk Duties:


  • Stock shelves and displays, follow FIFO rotation and planograms.

  • Check product dates and remove expired or damaged items.

  • Keep aisles, backroom, and work areas clean and organized.

  • Assist customers with product inquiries and directions.

  • Help with receiving, labeling, and merchandising when required.



Closing Supervisor Duties:


  • Supervise and support staff during closing shift.

  • Assign tasks and ensure closing checklist is completed.

  • Assist with cash closing procedures and floor operations.

  • Handle customer concerns professionally.

  • Conduct final store walk-through and secure store before closing.



Qualifications:


  • Previous grocery/retail experience preferred.

  • Good communication and leadership skills.

  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long hours.
