Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Front End & Administration Manager to oversee front-end operations, bookkeeping functions, payroll processing, and HR administration. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations, strong financial controls, and a positive experience for both customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Administration
Post Vendor Order Adjustments (VOAs) and scan supporting documentation
Complete weekly DSD corrections and maintain scanned records
Process cheque payments and complete required manual uploads
Manage and reconcile LCBO EFT payments
Prepare and submit HST remittances
Process and track invoice payments using SAP and Concur
Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant financial records
Payroll & HR Administration
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
Ensure ongoing HR compliance with company policies and legislative requirements
Maintain confidential employee files and documentation
Support HR processes including documentation, record keeping, and compliance audits
Prepare and monitor front-end labour projections
Front End Operations
Oversee day-to-day front-end operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
Create and manage weekly front-end staff schedules
Track and manage front-end expenses
Stay current and compliant with all front-end programs and initiatives
Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and discipline front-end staff as required
Ensure cash office compliance and proper cash handling controls
Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring OSAT standards are consistently executed and promoted by cashiers
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in retail front-end operations, administration, or bookkeeping (grocery retail within Loblaw umbrella preferred)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Experience with payroll processing and HR administration
Familiarity with SAP, Concur, or similar systems is an asset
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
