Loblaw a adopté le modèle de travail hybride suivant (une combinaison de travail entre le bureau et à distance). Les collègues peuvent travailler à distance jusqu'à 1 jour par semaine, tout en passant les 4 autres jours au bureau (à déterminer par chaque unité commerciale).
Rôle :
Le candidat retenu soutiendra l’équipe d’analyse et de stratégie de marché et sera responsable, sans s’y limiter, de la mise à jour et de la maintenance des bases de données, de la création d’ensembles de données, de la communication avec les services de planification urbaine et de la collaboration avec le logiciel GIS pour l’analyse spatiale.
Tâches :
- Participer à la stratégie de mise en marché nationale en cernant les secteurs d’expansion supplémentaire des magasins d’après les indicateurs suivants, sans toutefois s’y limiter : croissance démographique et performance du magasin;
- Assurer la liaison avec les urbanistes municipaux et contractuels afin de suivre de près les zones de croissance régionale, d’estimer la croissance démographique et de rechercher d’éventuelles possibilités commerciales;
- Surveiller les activités des compétiteurs, mettre à jour les bases de données relationnelles et participer à la production de rapports, tant à l’échelle régionale que nationale;
- Répondre à diverses demandes d’information, y compris l’extraction de données à partir de diverses bases de données;
- Participer aux visites des sites et des marchés, au besoin.

- Connaissance du marché canadien du commerce de détail de l’épicerie et des médicaments est un avantage
- Aptitudes pour produire des rapports, documents et présentations efficaces
- Aptitudes pour mettre à jour et tenir à jour les bases de données critiques
- Attitude professionnelle, tact, diplomatie et discrétion dans les relations avec les relations de l’extérieur et les collègues, notamment avec la haute direction
- Compétences en communication, en présentation, en rédaction et en multitâche : un atout essentiel
Summer 2026 Work Term

The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.
Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).
Role Mandate:
The successful candidate will support the Market Analytics & Strategy team and will be responsible for but not limited to updating and maintaining databases, building up datasets, contacting urban planning departments and working with GIS software for spatial analysis.
Duties:
- Contribute to a national market strategy to identify areas for incremental store growth based on metrics such as but not limited to: population growth and store performance
- Liaises with municipal and contacting planners to monitor respective regional growth areas, estimate future population growth and research potential commercial opportunities.
- Monitor competitive activity, update relational databases and contribute to national and regional level reporting.
- Fulfills various requests for information including extracting data from various databases
- Participate on potential site visits and market tours as required.

- Grocery & drug Canadian retail market knowledge is a benefit
- The ability to produce effective reports, documents, and presentations.
- Updates and maintains critical databases.
- Professional manner, tact, diplomacy and discretion in dealing with external contacts and colleagues including senior management.
- Communication, presentation, written and multi-tasking skills are essential
