Director, Product Management - Digital Health

Why is this role important?


Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Health, the Director is responsible for leading digital health strategic projects within the Health space. In particular, the Director will lead the strategic planning and execution of a high priority enterprise initiatives around Get Care capabilities for PC Health and Shoppers Drugmart digital platforms. The Director will be responsible for the creation and ongoing management of the product strategy and roadmap for Get Care capabilities, as well as oversee a cross-functional product team both within the enterprise and across key strategic partnerships. The Director will also work closely with our pharmacy and healthcare business leads, as well as the operations, data & analytics and information technology teams, to identify, structure and guide digital health opportunities into viable solutions. In this capacity the Director will lead collaborations and use customer insights and analytical models to assess opportunities and determine the impact of innovative digital health initiatives.


What You'll Do:

  • Own and manage all the Get Care capabilities for patient-facing experiences (pharmacy services, Lifemark, other care provider partners)
  • Develop and manage detailed execution plans across cross-enterprise, cross-functional teams both centrally and with key partners
  • Lead day-to-day coordination of large cross-functional, cross-enterprise digital health projects and initiatives, resolving issues as needed
  • Be accountable for execution and meeting product roadmap timelines and targets
  • Drive user acquisition and engagement through product roadmap decisions, using customer insights and user feedback wherever possible
  • Identify strategic opportunities in the digital space related to pharmacy and healthcare and support build out and implementation
  • Make strategic decisions based on complex data and information
  • Be the subject matter expert in digital health, as well as relevant regulatory and industry developments

What You'll Need:

  • University degree with a concentration in Business and / or Health Sciences, preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in strategic planning and execution in the healthcare sector
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital health product preferred, direct app experience is a bonus
  • Strong background in digital health, business strategy and execution is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent power point and excel skills
  • Ability to be proactive on deliverables
  • Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
  • Ability to work with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals
  • Ability to understand healthcare regulatory frameworks and healthcare ecosystem
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, combined with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
