The impact you’ll make: 

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Brand Marketing & PR to lead the expansion and growth of Loblaw Advance, our innovative media and advertising technology division. In this pivotal role, you will translate product and business strategies into impactful marketing and communication plans, driving awareness, adoption, and client success. You will be a key collaborator across product marketing, sales, strategy, and account teams, fostering strong client relationships and market leadership.
 
What you’ll do: 

Build the Brand and Drive Thought Leadership:
•    Craft compelling content and insight-driven narratives to establish Loblaw Advance as a category leader in media innovation
•    Spearhead PR initiatives, awards submissions, speaking engagements, and strategic sponsorships to elevate market visibility
•    Publish impactful whitepapers, case studies, and industry research to establish credibility and showcase media innovation
•    Manage brand presence through strategic events, activations, educational series, and branded merchandise
•    Lead and mentor the brand marketing team, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, business goals, and executional excellence.

Sales Enablement & Lead Generation:
•    Develop and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, the Loblaw Advance website, and newsletters, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud and LMS tools to generate qualified leads.
•    Create and maintain sales enablement materials, including prospecting initiatives, LinkedIn campaigns, and lead generation content, to support sales team efforts.
•    Shape go-to-market strategies for new media products, building compelling selling narratives and driving market adoption.

Measurement & Optimization:
•    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand engagement, marketing-influenced pipeline growth, and overall campaign effectiveness.
•    Analyze marketing data and campaign performance to identify areas for optimization and improvement, maximizing client engagement and business results.
•    Monitor emerging media trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for Loblaw advance to lead the market and innovate. 

 
What You’ll Bring:

•    Proven track record as a strategic and self-directed brand marketing leader with the ability to motivate, organize, and align cross functional teams to achieve business goals
•    5-10+ years of progressive brand marketing and communications experience, with a focus on B2B marketing, sales enablement, and client growth
•    Extensive experience across various marketing communication channels, including event marketing B2B social media, content marketing (whitepapers, newsletters), and website management
•    Deep understanding of the media, advertising technology, or retail/consumer packaged goods sectors
•    Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into persuasive narratives
•    Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize high impact initiatives
•    Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools and a strong visual design sense
•    Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Coda, Jira preferred
