The Front End Specialist supports the Front End of the future by strengthening store processes, driving execution of national and divisional initiatives, and building the tools, training, and accountability needed for store success.
This role partners closely with store teams and cross-functional partners to improve compliance, productivity, standards, and the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate is operationally strong, collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about helping stores succeed.
What you'll do:
- Support assigned stores with consistent execution of Front End standards, processes, and priorities
- Partner with store colleagues to set expectations, provide coaching, and reinforce best practices
- Act as a link between Merchandising, Operations, Sales Audit, Finance, Gift Card, Loss Prevention, and store teams
- Gather feedback from stores, identify issues, and help drive solutions
- Analyze store and department performance, identify gaps, and support action plans to improve results
- Help create training materials, quick reference guides, and execution tools as a subject matter expert
- Support pilots, new program rollouts, seasonal programs, and business initiatives
- Assist with merchandising expectations, directive compliance, and new delivery execution
- Support new store openings, refurbishments, and priority stores needing additional merchandising help
- Deliver merchandising workshops and training sessions for store colleagues
- Help stores improve sales, margins, inventory, shrink, and customer service
- Resolve operational issues such as vendor credits, scheduling challenges, and team conflicts where needed
What you bring:
- 3–5 years of relevant retail or operations experience
- Retail management or specialist experience; multi-format experience is an asset
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
- Strong organization, planning, and execution skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel within Canada as required
