The Cold Deli Department Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the deli section, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.

This role involves

  • managing staff,
  • scheduling,
  • inventory control,
  • maintaining merchandise presentation.

The manager will implement effective training programs, promote healthy eating options, and develop promotional strategies to drive sales. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential, along with a thorough knowledge of deli products and state health regulations. They will also be able to follow company directives in accordance with provincial and federal guidelines.

Recommended Skills:

  • strong organizational and communication abilities,
  • customer service
  • proficiency in inventory management.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and handling procedures is critical.
  • Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, manage a team effectively, and implement training and development programs for staff. Strong problem-solving skills and basic financial acumen for budgeting and sales analysis are also important.

Experience Required:

1-2 Years Retail Management Experience

Job Requirements:

  • Be physically able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Available 40 Hours a week Full-Time. Weekends and Evenings are required as well.
