Business Intelligence Engineer II | Brampton, ON
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Intelligence Developer (BI Engineer II) to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of robust and insightful reports, leveraging your expertise in platforms such as MicroStrategy and Power BI, to deliver actionable intelligence that supports critical business decisions.
What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in:
Developing high-quality BI and analytical solutions using MicroStrategy and Power BI across multiple projects.
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals and deliver actionable insights.
Empowering business users through self-service BI support and best practices for report design.
Partnering with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver BI initiatives and programs.
Understand and support the team's long-term strategic objectives and conduct ongoing, planned and ad-hoc analysis utilizing a variety of analytics/reporting tools.
What you Bring:
Experience with interactive /dynamic report and dashboard development and leveraging all visualization and functionality options available in MicroStrategy in an Architect Role.
Experience leading data analysis, data modeling and evaluation of new Business Intelligence technologies, features and products to synthesize innovative production solutions.
Experience applying SDLC best practices in a challenging environment with demonstrated ability to quickly decipher, analyze, translate, and prototype Business Intelligence and Analytical solutions in Agile sprints.
Experience with other data visualization tools (Power BI or Qlik preferred) and cloud technologies (Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
Ability to demonstrate excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
