We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual Senior Payroll Coordinator (English/French) to join our team for a temporary contract ending October 10, 2025. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization.

What you'll do:

  • Process and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and collective agreements
  • Manage various payroll activities, including issuing Records of Employment
  • Provide outstanding customer service by responding to worker inquiries and resolving payroll-related issues promptly and effectively
  • Develop a detailed understanding of relevant union agreements and their impact on payroll processes
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll procedures and systems
  • Assist with other payroll-related tasks as needed

What you'll bring:

  • Proficiency in both English and French is essential
  • Proven experience working in a Canadian payroll environment, with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and standard methodologies
  • Knowledge/experience of US payroll is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate knowledge)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with both internal and external collaborators
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Strong dedication to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
  • Knowledge of Pension and Benefits is an asset
