Bakery InStore Department Manager Full Time Day

We’re looking for Talented Passionate Leaders with a proven record of delighting customers and growing sales. As a Manager, you will have an immediate impact on sales and customer satisfaction. 

 
What you'll do 

• Oversee, manage, and assist in all areas of the department including bagels, donuts, commercial bread, in store bakery, cake decorating and the service counter.
• Ensure you and your employees provide exceptional customer service and resolve all customer concerns.
• Increase sales and gross profit while minimizing shrink by preparing production planners to meet your sales targets.
• Produce consistent, fresh, and quality products according to recipe cards and product specifications.
• Merchandise and maintain attractive product displays to provide a positive visual experience.
• Order product, receive and manage inventory, coordinate your production to ensure a good in stock position.
• Manage the planning and execution of seasonal bakery initiatives, maintaining a schedule that ensures preparedness.
• Hiring, training, scheduling, motivating and overseeing employees.
• Ensuring compliance with laws, company policy, the Collective Agreement, health and safety and food safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need: 

• A solid focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience in a retail bakery department. 
• Experience baking and/or cake decorating would be beneficial.

• Available to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.
• Previous managerial experience is beneficial but not required.

• Excellent organization, planning and communication skills.
• Food Handlers certificate would be a plus.
