Why is this role important :

As a Assistant Product Developer – Technical Specifications Coordinator , your main responsibility is to support the Product Developer in the product development process. You will work closely with the Product Development Director and assist in various administrative duties.  

Your role involves liaising with internal cross-functional teams and vendors, both domestically and overseas. You will provide support and training to vendors on LBL systems and tools when spec support is needed. It is important to maintain accurate and up-to-date product spreadsheets, ingredient specs, vendor product specs, and data.  

You will also be involved in the execution of packaging, handling packaging proof submissions, and ensuring that all packaging deadlines are met. It is crucial to ensure completion and accuracy of all documentation based on project timelines. You will track and organize all product documents and prepare them for Product Developer review and sign-off.   

Additionally, you will assist in preparing product presentations, contributing to the overall success of the product development process.  

To excel in this role, you should be a self-starter who is motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position. 



What you'll do:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Product Developer. 

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and our domestic and overseas vendor base. 

  • Provide training and support to new and existing vendors when assistance is required with LBL systems and tools. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product spreadsheets, product specifications, vendor product specifications, and data. 

  • Ensure completion and accuracy of all documentation based on project timelines. 

  • Track and organize all product documents for Product Developer sign-off. 

  • Assist in preparing product presentations. 


What you bring :

  • B.Sc in Food Science/related Science field  

  • Prior exposure to Product Development or Quality Assurance 

  • 1+ yr working experience in field 

  • Proficiency on MS Suite  

  • Proficiency in SAP 

  • Strong organizational skills  and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects to achieve productivity and business goals
