Assistant Night Shift Manager

 

Store Information: Fortinos Langstaff - 8585 Highway 27, Vaughan, ON

 

Hourly Rate: $25.41 + $1 Night Shift Premium

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Oversee the stores night shift operations, including the fresh side, to ensure safety and security. 

  • Put up orders, stock shelves and build displays.

  • Face, merchandise and reorganize displaced items to ensure the store is in customer ready condition.

  • Complete night-time temperature and alarm checks.

  • Merchandise and maintain attractive product displays to provide a positive visual experience.

  • Adhere to all product rotation and cleaning requirements and schedules.

  • Assist and support in guiding, training and supervising employees.

  • Act as a back up to the Manager, overseeing the departments operations in their absence.

  • Ensuring compliance with laws, company policy, the collective agreement, health and safety and food safety regulations

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • What You’ll Need to Succeed:

     

  • A solid focus on providing exceptional customer service.

  • Previous experience in the grocery retail industry.

  • Available to work between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM during the week and on weekends.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.

  • Previous leadership experience is required.

  • Excellent organization, planning and communication skills.

  • Food Handlers certificate would be a plus.
