What You'll Do:
Order preparation
- Work with suppliers and replenishment to ensure that all PO's are booked for pickup as per Company protocol
- Reviewing Vendor portals to ensure order accuracy and availability
- Identify system configuration opportunities, documenting and actioning with stakeholders
- Collaborating with Inbound Scheduling team to appoint deliveries into Loblaw Distribution Centres
Load Planning
- Communicate with Replenishment, Suppliers, Scheduling and Carriers to finalize pickup and delivery details
- Plan loads in Transportation Management System
- Track and trace all PO’s to ensure successful pickup and delivery
- Document challenges and report to designated recipients
- Plan and execute exception and rush loads
- Review vendor pickup windows to better align with OB deliveries.
Customer Service
- Respond to phone and email requests from internal stakeholders
- Attend meetings providing status updates as required
Reporting:
- Ensure that daily and weekly reports are completed and sent accurately and on time
What You'll Need:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management an asset
- Prior experience in Transportation/Warehouse Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred
- Must have exceptional Excel and Power Point skills, with the ability to extract and report on data as required by the business
- Must be detail oriented and must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
- Geographical knowledge of Canada
